Pair your devices once
Scan the Mac pairing code from the Galaxy Tab and approve the relationship on both devices.
File movement guide
Drag from the edge of your Mac. Share back from your Galaxy Tab. TabShare gives each direction an action that already belongs on that device.
The short answer
After your Mac and Galaxy Tab are paired, TabShare keeps file movement local and gives the receiving device a clear arrival. You do not need to copy an address, upload to a drive, or name the network path.
Scan the Mac pairing code from the Galaxy Tab and approve the relationship on both devices.
Move files to the edge of the Mac screen. Edge Portal appears and sends them to the paired Galaxy Tab.
Choose TabShare from Android Share, drag into TabShare in split-screen, or select a file inside the companion app.
Review the arrival on your Galaxy Tab, or open and reveal Mac-owned files from the Mac receipt and Shelf.
Mac to Galaxy Tab
Edge Portal stays out of the way until your drag reaches the screen edge. Drop one file or a group, and the Galaxy Tab shows what arrived.

Gallery, My Files, Samsung Notes export, and other apps can give TabShare an ordinary file. The Mac stores the verified result in your chosen receive location and offers the next action.
Other good options
Quick Share and LocalSend can be good choices for an occasional send on compatible devices. TabShare is designed around one repeated Mac plus Galaxy Tab relationship, with Edge Portal, Paper Roundtrip, Automatic Delivery, Shared Clipboard, and Shelf around the same paired devices.
